I was born in daska in my maternal grandfather's in 1938. My father belonged to village Kaleke in tehsil pasrur. He studied in Scotch Mission High School and went on to become mining engineer after graduating from Indian School of Mines Dhanbad. As I have my roots in Daska and district Sialkot I am keen to know more about the town and establish link with those who perhaps knew my grandfather S natha Singh Sahi. As far as IO can recall my grand father's house was located in Mohala Thathiyarn. I shall be obliged if someone couls email me latest photograph of Scotch Mission High School and Government Primary School. Any other information is well come. I also recall that right in front of Gurdwara there used to be a sweetmeat shop. I wonder how that place is now. Peo[ple of Daska can be judged for their grace and high moral values from the fact that in events of 1947 not one hindu or sikh was hurt.
